Here are some questions commonly asked by our prospective clients.

 

Q: Why hire TriStem to audit your utility bills?
A: Bills are hard to read, and even more difficult to understand. An electric bill can be based on 15 or more calculations, some of which depend on information from prior bills and different electric rates. Information necessary to perform an intelligent audit will not appear on the bill.  Incorrect bills are just moved through the system.


Q: What will it cost?
A: Our only fee is to keep 49% of actual refunds obtained. You keep 100% of future savings.


Q: What are some of the things that TriStem checks?
A: Wrong rates, rates applied improperly, estimated meter readings, meter malfunctions, meters improperly installed, billing for meters that do not exist, billing for accounts that belong to others, wrong type or size of light, riders not applied properly, calculation errors, double billings, double payments, charges not allowed in the contract, contracts with erroneous terms, and tariff violations.


Q: What is the catch, are there any hidden fees?
A: There is no catch.  We receive a percentage of the refunds obtained from the electric company. We do not deal in future savings.
